I'm in the WhitPrint Art Fest Saturday
Do come by and see some of my work. And check out these two other shows that are coming up!
OK, Oregon fans: You’ll have, count ’em, three opportunities in coming months to see and purchase my hand-colored photography. One of them takes place this weekend in Eugene, when I’ll have a table at Whiteaker Printmakers’ 2nd Avenue Art Fest.

Organized by WhitPrint, ClaySpace and Wildling Collaborative Arts, the one-day-only art sale runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 7, inside and outside the WhitPrint studio at 1328 W 2nd Avenue.
I’ll be at a table inside with an assortment of old and new work, ranging in size from 9x12-inch sleeved photos, at very low prices, to framed 16x20 and larger works.
Do drop by!
Farther south this weekend, my hand colored photo “Broken Off 2024.7,” part of my Fire & Ice project on climate change damage to Oregon forests, will be shown in the Artwork Northwest Biennial that opens with a reception from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, June 6, and runs through August 15 at Umpqua Valley Arts.
UVA is a great regional art center, housed in a former old-soldiers’ home (photo below). Its numerous galleries mean the Biennial has space for a good cross section of the excellent art being made throughout the Northwest, not just in urban centers.

Finally, the Mindpower Gallery in Reedsport, one of the oldest continuously operating art galleries in Oregon, is planning a show late this summer of my recent hand-colored landscape work, to be titled “Colors of the West.” It’s set to run from August 22 to September 26. Details still being worked out.
All these exhibition opportunities are keeping me happily busy with my cameras and paint. Stay tuned!
